China spreadsheet: jackets

This is the jacket page of the China spreadsheet: 251 jackets from Weidian and Taobao sellers, with photos and buy links for four agents. Jackets are the heavy end of a haul — check the hardware and the fill in the QC photos, and plan the parcel around them.

What to check in the QC photos of jackets

Your agent photographs the item when it reaches the warehouse. This is the moment a problem is still cheap to fix. What QC means

  • Zips, snaps and toggles

Hardware is where a jacket shows its quality. Look for clean branding on zip pulls and snaps that sit straight.

  • Fill and loft

On puffers, look for even baffles without flat or empty sections. Photos taken flat on a table make every puffer look thinner than it is.

  • Logos and patches

Check placement and alignment against a retail photo, and that embroidery is dense rather than patchy.

  • Measurements

Ask the agent to measure chest and length across the garment. It is the only way to compare against a jacket you already own.

Shipping jackets

A jacket is often the heaviest and bulkiest item in a parcel. Many agents offer vacuum-sealing or removing hangers and extra packaging, which can shrink the volumetric weight considerably — ask before submitting.

FAQ

Jackets: questions people ask

Do puffer jackets ship well?

Yes. Down and synthetic fill recover after being compressed. Vacuum-packing a puffer for shipping is common, and it usually reduces the volume you are charged for.

How do I check jacket size from QC photos?

Ask for a pit-to-pit (chest) and back-length measurement in centimetres and compare it with a jacket that fits you. Tag sizes from sellers in China often run smaller than Western sizes.

Why is the jacket price different at different agents?

The seller's price is the same; each agent converts it at its own rate and adds its own service fee. The price on the card here is the seller's price, converted to euros at the day's rate.
