Guide · choosing an agent
Which shopping agent should you use?
The best agent is the one that is cheapest for your parcel to your country, with QC photos you can work with. Kakobuy, Litbuy, Oopbuy and USFans all buy from Weidian and Taobao, and every find in this spreadsheet links to all four — so you can compare real carts instead of trusting a table.

How to compare
Eight things that decide it
No fee percentages or shipping prices here: they change several times a year, and a page that prints them is out of date by the next season. Each point tells you where to get the live answer.
Can it buy what you want?
All four buy from Weidian and Taobao. Check the item opens in the agent before you commit — the converter does that in one paste.
How the service fee works
Some charge a percentage of the item price, some a fixed amount per item, some nothing on the item and more on shipping. Add the same item to two carts and compare the totals.
Shipping lines to your country
This is usually the larger half of the bill. Every agent has a shipping estimator: enter your country and an honest weight, and compare the lines it offers.
QC photos
How many photos come free, whether you can ask for detail shots, and what extra photos cost. This is where a bad item gets caught.
Free storage time
How long items wait in the warehouse for free while you build a haul. Longer storage lets you combine more into one parcel.
Payment methods
Card, PayPal, wallet top-ups — and what each costs. A payment surcharge is part of the price even if the cart shows it last.
Sign-up coupons
Most agents give new accounts shipping coupons. They usually apply to the first parcel only, so register through the link with the coupon before the first order.
Support and returns
How fast they answer, in which language, and how a return to the seller works while the item is still in China.

FAQ
Choosing an agent
What is the best shopping agent?
The one that is cheapest for your parcel to your country, with QC photos you can work with. That changes with where you live and how heavy your haul is, which is why no honest page can name one winner for everyone. Put the same items in two agents' carts, get a shipping estimate for your country from both, and compare the totals.
Can I use more than one agent?
Yes, and many buyers do. The catch is that each agent ships separately, so items split across two agents become two parcels with two shipping charges. Keep one haul at one agent.
What is the difference between a shopping agent and a forwarder?
A shopping agent buys the item for you, receives it, photographs it and ships it. A forwarder only receives and ships what you buy yourself. Agents do the buying because most Chinese marketplaces do not ship abroad or accept foreign cards.
Are Kakobuy, Litbuy, Oopbuy and USFans safe to use?
They are established agents used by large numbers of buyers, and the money flow is the same for all four: you pay the agent, the agent pays the seller. The risks are the ordinary ones — an item that does not match its photos, a parcel held at customs — and QC photos are the main protection against the first.
